Audi A5 convertible was launched with three petrol engines and two diesel engines ranging from 132 kW (180 hp) and 195 kW (265 hp). The five power plants are powered by gasoline direct injection, turbocharged four of them used. Propulsion systems available include a six-speed manual, the continuously variable multitronic and the new, lightning fast seven-speed electronic s. Besides the front-wheel drive, Audi also has quattro permanent four-wheel drive for larger engines. The innovative sport differential, which variably distributes power between the rear wheels is optionally available for even greater dynamics and driving pleasure.
